I was beyond excited to be commissioned for a gift for the Powell family, who are celebrating 80 years of owning and operating Clearview Golf Club. Clearview is the first golf course in American that was owned by a Black American and was hand-built by Bill Powell himself. Since this club opened in 1946, I wanted to pay homage to the iconic jazz posters of the 1940s.
